Job Description

We are looking for a Compliance and Quality Improvement Director to help our company as we are undergoing exponential growth.

This person will design and implement programs and policies. They will also ensure that 2nd Chance complies with all federal, state, and local regulations. Some other responsibilities will be to access quality/risk management functions and patient safety-related activities.

More focused activities will be to:

  • Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
  • Leads and/or participates in multi-department/cross-functional committees and work groups which support key initiatives, prepares reports, data, agendas/minutes or other materials for committee presentation and management.
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of annual quality improvement program documents and evaluations, compliance audits, policies and procedures, and improvement activities.
  • Develop modify and maintain company compliance plan, code of conduct and other compliance policies.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to interpret financial and statistical reports.
  • Ability to work independently and to be accurate, efficient, and organized.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulatory framework.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge.
  • Organization, project management and strategic planning skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare administration or healthcare related discipline OR Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
  • Five (5) years compliance experience in a healthcare environment (Behavioral Health preferred).
  • Three (3) years management, supervisory, or lead worker.
  • Quality improvement and compliance experience preferred.
