Hybrid Remote - Surprise Clinic (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Look no further! We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at 2nd Chance, a leading outpatient mental health facility. With a hybrid remote work arrangement that allows for a healthy work-life balance, this position offers the best of both worlds, combining in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Responds to and initiates care for those requiring mental health services at 2nd Chance.
- Identifies & diagnoses patient mental health & substance use problems and prescribes treatment.
- Implements mental health services utilizing therapeutic regimens.
- Provides mental health education to patients, healthcare and medical staff.
- Provide health/behavioral health assessment (including differential diagnoses, prognosis), treatment recommendations and treatment planning for clients across program types.?
- Assess & provide medication management for behavioral health patients.
- Provide counseling, brief therapy, psychoeducation about health/behavioral health and other care for clients as planned by the treatment team and to support the treatment plan of the client.?
- Communication with health care providers outside of 2nd Chance and interpretation of health results for patient care planning.
- Adhere to organizational standards, policies, and procedures, in addition to legal regulations.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Board Certified Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Must hold valid license to practice in the State of Arizona.
- Must have full prescription authority and maintain current D.E.A. licensure.
- Suboxone/buprenorphine waiver is strongly encouraged.
- Master’s degree in nursing.
- Must have fluency in documenting into an electronic medical record.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bilingual is preferred, but not required.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in nursing.
- Board Certified Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- 1-3+ years of experience is preferred but new graduates will be considered.
